Education First, Never Pressure

Kris believes you should understand your choices before you make one. Medicare and health insurance come with their own vocabulary, deadlines and fine print. She takes the time to explain how each option works, what it may cost you, and what trade-offs come with it.

There is no pressure to enroll. Many people meet with Kris simply to learn, and that is welcome. When you are ready, she can help with the application. Until then, her goal is that you leave each conversation feeling more confident than when you arrived. Start with the Medicare planning overview if you are new to Medicare.

Helping You Avoid Late Enrollment Penalties

Some of the costliest Medicare mistakes come from timing. If you sign up for Part B or Part D late without other qualifying coverage, you may pay a penalty for as long as you have that coverage. Kris looks at your work situation, employer coverage and birthday to help you find the right enrollment window.

You can get a rough idea of your own timing with the Medicare enrollment window tool, then talk it through with Kris.
